Optometrist Role Overview

Asda Opticians is seeking a dedicated Optometrist to join our dynamic team, committed to excellence in healthcare. We are looking for a skilled candidate who is eager to contribute to our store's excellent service levels and foster positive relationships within our team and the wider community.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct eye examinations, contact lens, and extended service examinations.
  • Work alongside our Dispensing Optician Manager to support training, coaching, and maintaining departmental standards.
  • Deliver high-quality patient care and service, adhering to Asda's standards.
  • Support the development of new patient services and shape the culture of the department.
Requirements
  • Fully qualified optometrist registered with the GOC.
  • Registered performer with your NHS area team or health board.
  • MECs or WECs accredited (or willing to gain accreditation within 12 months of joining Asda).
  • On track to meet the statutory points requirement for CPD.
