About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled EIA Consultant to join our team at Ramboll Group A/S. As a Senior EIA Specialist, you will play a key role in coordinating statutory EIA and non-statutory environmental assessment processes for major development proposals in the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Environmental Baseline Data Collection and Analysis: You will be responsible for scoping and coordinating environmental baseline data collection, interpretation of data, and provision of advice regarding environmental and sustainability constraints and opportunities for development.
  • Client Relationship Management: You will develop trusted advisor relationships with Ramboll colleagues, supply chain partners, and clients, providing expert advice and guidance on EIA processes and regulations.
  • Report Writing and Spatial Data Management: You will have advanced report writing skills, ability to provide efficient peer review, and coordination of management of spatial data, including preparation of figures.
  • Project Delivery and Stakeholder Engagement: You will support and/or lead key technical and commercial aspects of project delivery, including advisory skills in relation to preparing materials for stakeholder meetings and public consultations.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced EIA Consultant with a strong background in environmental sciences, environmental engineering, or a related discipline. You will have prior EIA coordination experience on complex projects, with experience in the energy sector being advantageous but not essential.

You will possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and be able to work effectively in a team environment. You will also have a strong understanding of environmental consenting processes in the UK and EIA process and regulations.
