Barber McLelland Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Finance Executive to join their award-winning Corporate Team. As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Corporate Finance Directors and Managers in a wide range of Corporate Finance duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in Due Diligence assignments for new and existing clients
  • Assist in lead advisory assignments
  • Develop business plans and financial models for Corporate Finance projects, including mergers and acquisitions, fundraising, management buy-outs, and disposals
  • Research and prepare for new deal opportunity pitches
  • Produce financial forecasts, business plans, and information memorandums
  • Research and market potential buyers/sellers for clients
  • Assist in dealing with client queries
  • Participate in networking events to build professional services contacts
Requirements:

The successful candidate will be ACA or ACCA qualified with a minimum of 4 years' experience in the accountancy profession, preferably in a National or leading independent firm of accountants. They will have developed experience in general accounting, including statutory accounting, audit, and taxation. A strong desire to work in Corporate Finance and excellent negotiation and influencing skills are essential. The ideal candidate will be a team player, happy to contribute at all levels within a corporate finance capacity.
