**Maths Teacher Role**


We are seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join our team at a successful comprehensive school in Lancaster. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Maths to students in KS3/4, with a focus on providing engaging and challenging lessons that inspire students to learn.


Responsibilities:



  1. Develop and deliver effective Maths lessons to students
  2. Create lesson plans, assessments, and assignments that align with the curriculum
  3. Monitor and track student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents
  4. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning and student well-being
  5. Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and other school-related activities

Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field
  • Hold QTS
  • Experience teaching Maths to students in KS3/4
  • Strong knowledge of Maths curriculum and pedagogy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
