Electrical Project Manager

We are seeking an ambitious Electrical Project Engineer to join our operations team in the Greater Manchester area.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to develop your career with a well-established M&E contractor. As an Electrical Project Engineer, you will have the chance to prove yourself within a company looking to expand correctly, with great potential to develop into a Project Manager role within the next 12-18 months.
Key Responsibilities- Manage entire projects from clients, sub-contractors, suppliers, program of works, health and safety, and more.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project running.
- Provide general assistance to the project manager.
- Conduct technical liaison and review with external parties (clients, suppliers, sub-contractors).
- Attend meetings and site visits as required.
- Comfortable working independently on managing full electrical services install projects (small power, lighting, security systems, fire alarms, etc).
- Previous experience working on projects worth £20,000 to £1,500,000.
- Able to use Microsoft packages and read/interpret drawings.
- Ability to enforce company best practice and procedures to ensure H&S, quality, and timing are maintained.
- NVQ, HNC, or relative electrical qualifications are essential.
- Experience as an electrician is essential.
- SSSTS/SMSTS, black card, first aid are desirable.
- Salary negotiable depending on experience (circa £45,000 to £50,000 DOE).
