Job Summary:

Ultimate Recruitment is seeking a skilled Warehouse Operative to join our client's team in Desborough. As a key member of the warehouse team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely unload and load goods: Utilize manual handling equipment to efficiently receive and dispatch goods, adhering to health and safety protocols.
  • Log all incoming and outgoing goods: Accurately record all transactions on the Warehouse Management System, ensuring accurate inventory levels.
  • Pick and pack orders: Select and package orders for dispatch in line with customer requirements, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Complete stock checks: Conduct regular stock checks to ensure accurate inventory levels, identifying and reporting any discrepancies.
  • Work collaboratively: Contribute to achieving daily team targets, working effectively with colleagues to meet warehouse objectives.
  • Report machinery faults and health and safety breaches: Promptly report any issues or concerns to management, following established procedures.

Requirements:

  • Accredited Reach Truck license: Possess a valid Reach Truck license, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Excellent time management and punctuality: Demonstrate strong time management skills, arriving on time and meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team: Exhibit strong communication skills, working effectively with colleagues to achieve team objectives.
  • Strong communication skills: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, ensuring clear and concise communication with colleagues and management.

Pay Rates:

Paye: £14.12 per hour, with an overtime rate of £20.18 after 37.5 hours.

Umbrella: £16.75 per hour, with an overtime rate of £23.94 after 37.5 hours.
