About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Agricultural Loss Adjuster to join our field-based UK team at MBA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for receiving, visiting, assessing, and managing insurance claims from leading UK and International rural and agricultural sector insurers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively manage a mixed portfolio of agricultural claims from inception to completion
  • Work collaboratively with the internal team to understand and prioritize customer needs, ensuring quality visits and value-added preparation
  • Continuously review claim activity to identify potential blockages and reduce failure demand
  • Take sole responsibility for every claim handled, enhancing the customer journey by ensuring all parties are informed and working collaboratively with key stakeholders
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues, brokers, agents, and suppliers to ensure seamless claims handling service
Requirements
  • Insurance qualification (ACII or ACILA) is desirable, but essential is a commitment to study and gain knowledge
  • Strong external adjusting background and understanding of rural/agricultural industries, communities, and lifestyles
