We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to join our team at Reflect Recruitment Group. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the overall management of our manufacturing operations, ensuring that orders are executed correctly and delivered on time in accordance with specification and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and coordinate all production functions, including manufacturing, engineering maintenance, and planning.
- Lead and motivate a team of 15-20 employees, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the necessary skills and resources to perform their duties effectively.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, efficiency, and quality, and to reduce costs and waste.
- Collaborate with other departments, including sales, marketing, and finance, to ensure that production plans are aligned with business objectives.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including production volumes, quality metrics, and customer satisfaction.
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with a strong track record of managing teams and improving operational performance.
- Engineering-based qualification or experience, with a good understanding of engineering and workshop machinery.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and understand engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing documentation.
- Competent with Microsoft software packages, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Experience of working in a demanding and critical industry sector, such as oil and gas or power.
- Understanding of CAD drawings and software.
- NEBOSH or comparable managing safety experience.
- Understanding of safe working practices, RAMS, and permit works.
- A competitive salary range of £45,000-£50,000, depending on experience.
