Specialist Acute Vascular Dietitian

Job Overview
A rare opportunity has arisen to join the Dietetics Department at Glan Clwyd Hospital as a Specialist Acute Vascular and Diabetes Dietitian. This role requires a comprehensive nutritional assessment and care plan that considers macro- and micronutrient intake, comorbidities that affect nutrient ingestion, appropriate route of nutritional support, medications that affect wound healing and/or serum glucose levels, and the overall medical, nutritional, and metabolic status of the patient.
Main Duties
The successful candidate will provide specialist dietetic treatment to the Vascular Ward and MDT, and be an integral member of the Conwy & Denbighshire (Central BCUHB) area Acute Dietetic team. In addition, they will support the Clinical Diabetes team to provide specialist input, including assessment for patients with gestational diabetes, Type 2 diabetes, and group education, one-to-one assessments, and working closely with the Diabetes MDT.
Requirements
