The chosen Network Systems Specialist must have demonstrable capabilities in 3rd Line escalation support, gaining extensive exposure to Azure/365, VMware ESXi/vSphere, and Linux operating systems (e.g., Red Hat, Ubuntu) and command-line tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Configuring and installing hardware in both office and data centre environments.
  2. Provisioning new network services and deploying software applications.
  3. Ensuring seamless integration and performance of networking components.
  4. Acting as an escalation point for complex technical issues and projects.
  5. Maintaining and optimising ESXi infrastructure and VMware environments.
  6. Leading and participating in software and hardware deployment projects.

Core Skill Set Requirements:

  1. Azure/365 cloud experience to a proficient level.
  2. VMware ESXi / vSphere capabilities.
  3. Networking integration and performance experience.
  4. Previous experience working within consultancy / MSP / ISP / Telecommunications.
  5. Client-facing capabilities, experience interacting with stakeholders / c-suite staff.
