Assistant Financial Controller

Become part of Bayman Atkinson Smythe's finance team and take on the challenge of an Assistant Management Accountant role. This position offers a competitive salary of £33,869 per annum, along with a range of benefits including 28 days holiday + Bank Holidays, life insurance, and more.
You will be responsible for supporting the Finance Manager in managing financial data, improving financial processes, and ensuring accurate, timely services to both internal and external clients. Key tasks include reviewing payment runs, managing month-end journal postings, monitoring purchase orders, and maintaining balance sheet reconciliations.
Key responsibilities also involve budgeting and reporting, process improvement, and audit & compliance. You will need to have essential skills such as AAT Level 2/3 or QBEE, experience in finance, knowledge of social housing, strong Excel skills, attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as a team.
