Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Dulwich-based primary school in south East London. As a key member of our staff, you will work closely with our experienced teachers to provide support to students with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with SEN, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
  • Assist teachers with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery, ensuring that students receive a high-quality education.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, promoting a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in SEN support.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a UK primary school with SEN children.
  • Ability to motivate and engage students, promoting a love of learning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with staff and students.
  • Enthusiastic and dedicated mindset, with a commitment to providing high-quality support to students with SEN.
