Job Description

**Job Title:** Water Quality Specialist

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Water Quality Specialist to join our team at Highgrove Recruitment Group Limited. As a Water Quality Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of water quality and hygiene in our clients' facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine monitoring tasks in line with the Approved Code of Practice L8 and HSG.
  • Act as an ambassador for our company while visiting customer sites.
  • Obtain water samples from multiple properties and document these samples in line with company processes.
  • Complete and submit all documentation relating to the work carried out in a timely manner.
  • Carry out water system clean and disinfections in-line with company processes.
  • Test, service, and monitor thermostatic mixing valves.
  • Perform simple remedial plumbing tasks if qualified.
  • Analyze, test, and dose closed systems.
  • Follow the correct procedures for setting up and flushing closed low-temperature hot water and chilled systems, this being via main system pumps or temporary flushing rigs, to BSRIA guidelines.
  • Analyze, test, and check chlorine dioxide systems and equipment.
  • Comply with time allocations for specified works.
  • Communicate on a daily basis with your line manager.
  • Carry out a regular vehicle inspection and report any damage to your line manager. Follow the correct maintenance, driving, and safety procedures.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues and customers.
  • Take personal responsibility for your own health and safety and that of other people affected by the work you do.
  • Report any potential hazards arising from your work to your Line Manager. Report all accidents or near-miss incidents to your Line Manager.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience within the water hygiene sector.
  • A full UK driving license.
  • Able to provide a full DBS check, which we will pay for.
  • A valid CSCS card.
  • Excellent customer communication skills.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team as well as on your own.
  • Punctuality and good time management.
  • Basic IT skills.
  • Plumbing experience is beneficial.
