Experienced Wrap Around and Holiday Club Lead Wanted

This role is suitable for a highly organized individual with experience in leading teams to provide exceptional care and play opportunities for children between the ages of 2-11 years old.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:- To lead, develop and support a team of staff in nurturing and encouraging children, allowing them to participate and thrive within the WAC and Holiday Club provisions.
- Plan and engage in a range of indoor and outdoor play activities that cater to diverse needs and interests.
- Prepare for the arrival of children and ensure a clean and safe environment at the end of each session.
- Maintain accurate records of children attending the WAC and Holiday Club and their location within the school premises.
- Liaise with parents and carers to maintain open communication channels and address any concerns promptly.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including Safeguarding, Health and Safety, GDPR, and OFSTED inspection requirements.
- Administer basic first aid and keep records of accidents and incidents.
- Oversee safety and hygiene standards throughout the WAC, completing risk assessments and reporting hazards and accidents as necessary.
- Be the primary point of contact for parents and carers, providing information about their child's experience and using feedback to improve services.
- Collaborate with school admin and finance staff to maintain accurate records and produce invoices efficiently.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to providing high-quality care and education. Relevant qualifications and experience in childcare or a related field are essential.
Benefits:This position offers a competitive salary (£25,000 - £35,000 per annum), depending on experience, and opportunities for professional growth and development. We offer a supportive working environment and a chance to make a positive impact on the lives of children and families.
Salary Range:We are offering a salary of around £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
