We're seeking a Housing Management Specialist to join our Independent Living function, providing a well-rounded Housing Management service, overseeing allocations and lettings as well as tenancy management.
This role will be based at one of our Independent Living Schemes, where you will be directly dealing with our tenants, helping and guiding them towards successfully sustaining their own tenancy.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Providing a Housing Management service, overseeing allocations and lettings as well as tenancy management.
- Carrying out Building Safety Checks and ensuring the buildings' security.
- Liaising with the assets team in relation to any repairs which need carrying out.
- Monitoring on-site contractors completing works.
- Providing support to tenants with benefit claims, budgeting, move-on plans etc.
- Helping promote an independent lifestyle to our tenants.
Our ideal candidate? You will be a people-focused individual with previous experience in customer-facing roles. You will be dealing with vulnerable individuals facing homelessness, so it's essential you are resilient and able to deal with challenging circumstances.
