Clinical Fellow – Stereotactic Ablative Body Radiotherapy (SABR)

The Christie NHS Foundation Trust is a leading cancer hospital in the UK, serving a population of 3 million people. We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Fellow to join our team in Clinical Oncology, specializing in Stereotactic Ablative Body Radiotherapy (SABR).

About the Role

This is a 12-month fixed-term post, with the option to extend for a further 12 months. The successful candidate will be employed by The Christie NHS Foundation Trust and will be based at our hospital in Manchester. As a Clinical Fellow, you will work alongside consultants and trainees in out-patient clinics, supervising Technical Radiotherapy delivery and performing on-treatment reviews and follow-up assessments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement SABR treatment plans within the organization
  • Work in multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Supervise Technical Radiotherapy delivery and perform on-treatment reviews and follow-up assessments
  • Participate in research and audit activities to improve patient outcomes
Requirements
  • At least three years post full registration in General Medicine
  • Completed a minimum 3 years Clinical Oncology training
  • Previous SABR experience
