At the Heart of Yorkshire Education Group, we are seeking an exceptional Educational Games Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a degree or master's in Games Development and a strong background in game design, development, and project management.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £35,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.

We are looking for someone who can teach across all of our Higher Education provision while also contributing to our Further Education courses. As a Lecturer in Digital Media, you will work with our Curriculum Managers to further develop our Games Development courses.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Taught games development principles and practices to students
  • Developed and maintained curriculum materials, including lesson plans and assessments
  • Provided individualized feedback and support to students
  • Fostered external links with employers and the games industry to ensure that our curriculum is current and cutting edge

The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio of work demonstrating practical experience in generating games and/or interactive media related content.
