Job Title: Senior Tender Engineering Manager

GE Grid Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior Tender Engineering Manager to join our team in Stafford. As a key member of our Grid Solutions Integration team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation of bids for High Voltage AC & DC substations and Offshore windfarms, battery energy storage, and green hydrogen production opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare bid submissions for opportunities in the Grid Solutions Integration team.
  • Provide technical substation design and primary plant expertise to develop technical solutions as part of the tendering process.
  • Technical analysis of client needs to define and optimize product selection.
  • Prepare technical documentation for bid submission, defining scope, schedule, and cost, considering contract and internal policies and procedures.
  • Preparation of equipment/services technical specifications.
Requirements:
  • Power Electrical Engineering undergraduate Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
  • Extensive experience in the Engineering / Technology & Customer Application Engineering in Transmission and/or Distribution industry.
  • Desirable: experience in windfarm and/or HVDC designs.
  • Fluent oral and written English.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute to very tight delivery schedules.
