We are delighted to be supporting Royal Mail in recruiting for a Courier and Delivery Role across Scotland. If you are looking for an exciting opportunity, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You'll start your day in the local delivery office sorting and collecting post/parcels to be delivered.
  • You'll be given a hand-held device to capture customer signatures for deliveries. The hand-held will also act as your routing system, telling you where to go to next.
  • The role will be physically demanding, where you'll be walking at least 8 miles per day. You will also be required to carry a post bag, delivering letters and parcels.
  • Driving and on foot delivery will be required, and you will be required to push/pull a post trolley during deliveries.

Key Requirements:

  • MUST hold a valid UK driving license with a maximum of 6 points. (a clean license is preferred)
  • Previous delivery or driving experience preferred but not mandatory
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities
  • A commitment to safe and responsible driving practices
  • Working outdoors in all weathers is required
  • Able to work 5 days out of 7 including potential day at the weekend
