As a key member of our Internal Engineers or Settlement Engineers teams based in Birmingham, you'll be responsible for leading, inspiring, and developing high-performing people and suppliers.

The Role:

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you'll be accountable for delivering business objectives through performance management, problem-solving, coaching, and feedback. You'll also focus on driving efficiencies to meet the needs of our customers while adhering to our risk and compliance framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the customer experience is at the heart of everything we do, treating customers fairly at all times.
  • Leading, developing, and using appropriate judgment to deliver excellent performance through your team, in line with the Direct Line Group values and strategy.
  • Ensuring the best use of resource to meet customer demands and achieve our business SLAs.
  • Managing AD spend budget and inflation target.
  • Controlling and managing operational costs.
  • Identifying, owning, and managing risks involved in running our business, interacting with internal and external contacts.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Experience in the automotive industry and knowledge of vehicle repair techniques is useful but not essential.
