Vehicle Maintenance Specialist

Our Vehicle Technicians play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the John Lewis Partnership Fleet. As a Vehicle Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for carrying out scheduled servicing and maintenance of our vehicles in a professional and competent manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on HGVs to ensure they are safe and roadworthy
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the smooth operation of the fleet
- Stay up-to-date with the latest commercial vehicle repair techniques and best practices
Requirements:
- City and Guilds 1,2,3 Vehicle technician or equivalent qualifications
- Full UK Driving Licence
- A proven background in transport commercial vehicle repairs
- Knowledge of commercial vehicle legislation and roadworthiness

About the Role:
As a Vehicle Maintenance Specialist, you will be an integral part of the John Lewis Partnership's logistics network. You will work closely with the team to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the fleet, and will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic and supportive environment.
What You'll Be Doing:
As a Vehicle Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance and repairs on HGVs, conducting thorough inspections to identify potential issues, and working collaboratively with the team to ensure the smooth operation of the fleet. You will also be expected to stay up-to-date with the latest commercial vehicle repair techniques and best practices.
