Secure Platform Research Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Secure Platform Research Engineer to join our Security Lab team at HP Inc.

About the Role:

As a Secure Platform Research Engineer, you will contribute to HP's security research, analyzing use cases and threats, designing and prototyping novel security architecture to inform the design of future products and services. You will work closely with systems security research engineers and security technologists across HP.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and analysis of security threats and use cases
  • Design and prototype novel security architecture
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to inform product and service design
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation

Requirements:

  • Strong technical skills in low-level computer engineering architecture
  • Knowledge of systems security and enterprise IT architectures
  • Ability to communicate effectively about technical concepts
  • Experience with building prototypes to de-risk and demonstrate feasibility of ideas
