Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Precision Machinist to join our team at Precision Tooling Services. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machinery to produce high-quality components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program and operate CNC milling machines to perform internal and external milling of components
  • Operate manual milling machinery and utilize inspection equipment to ensure precise adherence to sizes, tolerances, and surface finishes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer needs and deliver high-quality products
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes and improve efficiency

Requirements:

  • Apprenticeship/HNC in Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
  • Time-served Miller with recent CNC experience
  • Experience of programming and operating CNC Milling machines
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
  • Knowledge of Fanuc programming language
  • Live within a commutable distance and have the right to work in the UK
