Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Precision Machinist to join our team at Precision Tooling Services. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machinery to produce high-quality components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program and operate CNC milling machines to perform internal and external milling of components
- Operate manual milling machinery and utilize inspection equipment to ensure precise adherence to sizes, tolerances, and surface finishes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer needs and deliver high-quality products
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes and improve efficiency
Requirements:
- Apprenticeship/HNC in Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
- Time-served Miller with recent CNC experience
- Experience of programming and operating CNC Milling machines
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Knowledge of Fanuc programming language
- Live within a commutable distance and have the right to work in the UK
