Principal Data Solutions Architect

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our data solutions landscape, focusing on cloud data platforms, IoT analytics, data integration, and migration projects. This role is a unique opportunity to shape the approach to designing and developing data solutions using cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and implementation of innovative cloud data platforms.
  • Set standards for detailed solutions documentation and data governance.
  • Promote Agile delivery methods across projects.
  • Manage and mentor senior technical staff, offering guidance and support.
  • Oversee data integration and migration projects to ensure seamless execution.
About You:

The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical prowess and leadership skills. Key qualifications and skills include:

  • Extensive experience in designing cloud data platforms using Azure, AWS, or exceptional on-premise design expertise.
  • At least 5 years in data engineering or business intelligence roles.
  • Proficiency in ETL and data pipeline design, with a technology-agnostic approach.
  • A solid understanding of data warehouse and data lake principles.
  • Expert SQL skills and demonstrable data modelling capabilities.
