About the role:

As a Removals Porter/Driver, you will play a crucial part in ensuring smooth and efficient moves for our clients. You will be responsible for safely transporting, loading, and unloading household and office goods while delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Driving company vehicles to transport furniture and household items to and from client locations
  • Loading, transporting, and unloading goods, ensuring they are protected and secured during transit
  • Packing, wrapping, and safeguarding goods to ensure they arrive in excellent condition
  • Assisting with assembling and disassembling furniture where necessary
  • Completing all necessary documentation, including delivery notes and checklists
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace and adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Providing professional and courteous service to clients throughout the move

We are looking for:

  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Previous experience in removals or a similar role, such as logistics, delivery driving, or packing, is highly beneficial
  • Physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy items safely
  • Strong attention to detail when packing and handling fragile goods
  • A good command of spoken English and strong communication skills
  • The ability to work well in a team, demonstrating reliability and a positive attitude
