About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Subway Sandwich Artist to join our team at SPAR Phoenix Park. As a Subway Sandwich Artist, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality sandwiches to our customers, while providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and serving sandwiches: You will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of sandwiches, salads, and other food items to our customers. This will include baking bread, washing and cutting vegetables, and assembling sandwiches to order.
  • Providing customer service: You will be the face of our business and will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our customers. This will include greeting customers, taking orders, and handling customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment: You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment, including cleaning equipment, utensils, and the surrounding area.
  • Working as part of a team: You will be working as part of a team to achieve our business goals and objectives. This will include collaborating with colleagues to achieve sales targets, maintaining a positive and supportive team culture, and contributing to the development of new ideas and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role: You will have previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the food service industry.
  • Excellent communication skills: You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment: You will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects: You will be able to lift and move heavy objects, including equipment and supplies.
