Inbound Materials Checker

Job Purpose:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Inbound Materials Checker to join our manufacturing business. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting incoming goods and materials to ensure they meet required specifications and quality standards.

Main Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of incoming goods, raw materials, and components against specifications and purchase orders.
• Verify supplier documentation and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Record inspection results and non-conformances within our quality management system.
• Collaborate with procurement, engineering, and production teams to address quality concerns.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar role, such as Goods Inwards Inspector or Quality Inspector, preferably within manufacturing.
• Skilled in using precision measurement tools and inspection equipment.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Estimated Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
