About the Role

Our agency works closely with SEND schools in Sheffield, offering a range of different settings and flexible opportunities. Some of our SEND schools in Sheffield cater to children with MLD, ASD, PMLD, SLD.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the planning and delivery of personalised learning activities, adapting materials and teaching methods to meet the individual needs of students.
Monitor and record students' progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents, and contributing to progress reports and meetings.
Promote an inclusive atmosphere where all students feel valued and supported, encouraging social interaction and emotional well-being.

Requirements

Previous experience working with children with special educational needs, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, learning difficulties, and physical disabilities.
Flexibility in adapting to different student needs, teaching styles, and classroom settings.
A strong understanding of safeguarding policies and a commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of all students. Successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
A valid driving license is preferred, as it may be necessary to travel between different school sites or for extracurricular activities.
