About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Respiratory Nurse Specialist to join our team at North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust. As a key member of our respiratory service, you will play a vital role in providing expert care to patients with respiratory conditions.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of high-quality patient care pathways, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible treatment and support. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care, including assessments, treatments, and education to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of patient care pathways for respiratory conditions, ensuring high-quality care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care, including assessments, treatments, and education to patients and their families.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure seamless care coordination and service delivery.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives, ensuring continuous enhancement of patient care and services.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to trust policies and procedures, and ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with current registration and NMC membership.
  • MSc or working towards it in a relevant field.
  • Significant experience as a CNS Band 7 in respiratory nursing, with expertise in managing complex patient cases.
  • Proven track record of leadership, management, and quality improvement initiatives.

Salary and Benefits

This is a challenging yet rewarding role, offering a competitive salary range of £85,000 - £105,000 per annum, depending on experience.
