We are a world-class partner to the games industry, and we need an expert in Czech language testing to join our team

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that video games are free from linguistic bugs and provide the best possible user experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • To play and test video games thoroughly, identifying any errors or inconsistencies in text and reporting them back to the development team using a bug database
  • To check in-game text for accuracy and correctness, following Universally Speaking's LQA process and professional standards
  • To use industry-standard tools to write detailed bug reports that get noticed as someone who cares about making games better
  • To own and manage test cases throughout the project life cycle, including document testing practices and reporting methods
  • To participate in test requirement gathering with developers to ensure Localisation QA effectively tests and supports all features of the project
  • To continuously look for ways to improve processes and take ownership of additional activities
Requirements
  • An expert level of proficiency in Czech language
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English
  • Passion for video games
  • Able to work under pressure within tight deadlines as part of a team
  • Pro-active, tenacious, and enthusiastic attitude
  • Focused on quality with a keen eye for detail
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • Right to Work in the UK

We estimate the salary for this position to be around £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
