Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Graduate Aerospace Engineer to join our dynamic team as part of the NewOrbit Graduate Program. As a Graduate Engineer, you will play a key role in the development of our pioneering air-breathing electric propulsion systems for satellites operating in Ultra-Low Earth Orbit (ULEO).

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the research, development, and testing of our innovative propulsion technology, focusing on air-intake and rarefied gas dynamics.
  • Help monitor, control, and optimize satellites in orbit, learning the intricacies of real-time space operations.
  • Collaborate on the integration and testing of satellite systems to ensure they meet mission requirements.
  • Enhance your technical and professional skills through hands-on experience, mentoring, and training sessions.
  • Apply your knowledge to solve complex challenges, contribute to innovative technology, and play a role in the successful deployment of our satellite missions.

Requirements

  • A degree level or equivalent in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
  • Experience in university satellite and propulsion projects, interest in space engineering, and a desire to contribute to the future of satellite technology.
  • Hands-on experience with building things, working in the lab, and working with electronics is a requirement.
  • Adaptability: flexibility and a proactive approach to learning, with a commitment to personal and professional development.
