Science Graduate Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Science Graduate to join our team as a Chemistry teacher at a top-rated Secondary School in Colchester.

About the Role

As a Science Graduate, you will be responsible for leading lessons of approximately 30 pupils in the absence of the class teacher. You will cover Chemistry lessons from KS3-KS5, requiring a good knowledge of Science up to A-Level. Your role will involve facilitating the class's learning, managing classroom behaviour, recording accurate registers, and providing a handover to the absent teacher.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience of working within a Secondary school prior to applying to Initial Teacher Training.

Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Science from a reputable University.
  • Knowledge of Chemistry up to A-Level.
  • A passion for education and providing the highest possible level of support to young people.
