Vacancy Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Seasonal Amenity Operative. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing front-line service delivery in street sweeping, general grounds maintenance, and related services across East Lothian.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out street sweeping and general grounds maintenance duties
  • Provide excellent customer service to the public
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve shared goals
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and clean environment

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. A full driving license and experience in grounds maintenance would be advantageous.

Working Arrangements

This is a temporary full-time post for 12 months. The successful candidate will be required to work Monday to Thursday, 07:15-15:30, and Friday, with a flexible approach to working hours.
