Truck Driver Position

Optime Group is seeking a skilled 7.5T Driver to join their team in partnership with Avanti Trains. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a leading company in the industry, providing excellent hours and overtime opportunities.
As a 7.5T Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely delivery of catering and goods to our train clients, adhering to various scheduling requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver goods to BHM Station or Wolverhampton Station
- Transport carts to the train and gather them
- Loading and unloading your own vehicles 7.5T
- Completing transport documents
- Inspect the truck before and after each trip, reporting any issues or maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Communicate with dispatch to receive delivery instructions and updates
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with customers
Requirements:
- Must hold a valid C1 manual driving licence
- Must hold a valid Driver CPC Card
- Must hold a valid Digi card
- Maximum of 6 points on your licence allowed
- Flexible and enthusiastic approach to work
- Must be able to use a computer, basic Excel and communication of English
- Ability to demonstrate our core values
- Basic numeracy skills
- Basic Checking skills
