The Senior Mechanical Engineer will provide technical leadership within the process and reliability engineering department for equipment and process design for CSL Seqirus Liverpool's products ensuring the engineering solutions meet cost, reliability, schedule, and performance integrity requirements.

Responsibilities include managing the planning of all process engineering activities from preliminary design to routine manufacturing, coordinated with the project management team, including in-house/plant technical support.

As part of the Senior Manager, Process and Reliability Engineering team, the successful candidate will report to the Senior Manager and be based at our Liverpool site.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Liverpool Manufacturing strategy to meet goals.

Split responsibilities into two main areas:

  • Support important process improvement programmes.
  • Complete plant modifications and engineering projects to meet strategic performance targets.

Requirements

  • Degree in an engineering discipline is essential, preferably in mechanical engineering. Chartered or working towards is expected.
  • Broad-based engineering experience is required to allow operation across many departments and processes.
  • Substantial experience working in industry.
  • Independently provide daily support to our manufacturing operations.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements/optimisation sitewide.
  • Independently lead complex cross-functional process changes.
  • Maintain oversight of all area process changes to ensure prioritisation/resource management.
