Nelson & Colne College Group: Trainer Assessor Role

This role involves delivering training and assessment to apprentices in Engineering, with a focus on quality and excellence.

We are seeking a Trainer Assessor with experience in Apprenticeship Standards and a proven track record of successful EPA results.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in Machinery, Engineering, or Technical Support
  • Qualifications in NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, A1, and Teaching Qualification
  • Current industrial experience and up-to-date industry CPD

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering training, mentoring, and assessment to apprentices
  • Managing apprenticeship recruitment and enrolments
  • Leading apprentice, College, and company inductions
  • Coaching and demonstrating best practice in line with new Standards
