About the Role

As a Property Valuer at Spicerhaart, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our clients by providing accurate and reliable property valuations. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and clients to understand their property needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Focus on generating new and repeat business by identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell our services.
  • Gain new instructions for properties to market by utilizing various marketing skills and strategies.
  • Market properties to buyers using a range of marketing techniques, including brochures, photos, and written descriptions.
  • Complete contracts on properties and ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Upsell additional products and services to clients to increase revenue and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare brochures for each property, including photos and written descriptions, to showcase the property's features and benefits.
  • Canvass the local area to identify new business opportunities and build relationships with potential clients.
  • Door knock and leaflet drop to promote our services and attract new business.
  • Ensure that all properties are marketed in accordance with health and safety standards.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Full UK driving license for a manual vehicle.
  • Experience as an estate agent who is ready to take the next step in their career.
  • Ability to work well with others to create a team spirit and an enjoyable working environment.
  • Supporting your manager by helping to lead the team.
  • A reputation for delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Ability to work under own initiative.
  • Good telephone manner.
  • Strong IT skills (basic Microsoft packages).
  • Strong attention to detail.

The Finer Details

We are currently conducting some interviews using video software. To be eligible to proceed in our recruitment process, you will need:

  • Full UK driving license.
  • Legal entitlement to live and work in the UK (in accordance with the Immigration Asylum and Nationality Act 2006).
  • We'll need evidence of your right to work in the UK, in the form of: Passport/Birth Certificate.

We will also need:

  • Proof of address.
  • National Insurance.
  • Driver's license check.
