IT Testing Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at EA First Compass House as we embark on a global strategic transformation programme. As the IT Testing Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring a smooth transition of our existing ERP system across multiple locations.
Our client is a multinational manufacturing organisation that has enjoyed continued growth and is expanding into new markets. As the IT Testing Manager, you will be responsible for designing and executing the testing of a new ERP system as it is introduced across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans that align with project requirements and organisational goals.
- Define the scope, objectives, and schedule for testing activities, ensuring that all testing processes adhere to industry standards and best practices.
Execution and Monitoring:
- Oversee the execution of test cases, including functional, regression, integration, performance, penetration, and vulnerability testing.
- Identify, track, and manage defects and issues throughout the testing lifecycle.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with project managers, developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of testing requirements and deliverables.
- Act as the testing workstream lead into the global ERP programme, providing plans to project managers in collaboration with other workstream leads, identifying dependencies, risks, and ensuring milestones are achieved.
- Facilitate regular status meetings and provide updates on testing progress, risks, and issues.
Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement:
- Ensure that all testing activities meet the organisation's quality standards and comply with relevant regulations.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks related to testing and develop mitigation strategies.
This programme requires an experienced Test Manager who has experience in integration testing on large programmes. You will be a strong communicator and willing to visit the sites where implementations will happen to build relationships.
Salary: £55,000 to £65,000 plus bonus and benefits.
