About the Role:

  • Teach the Key stage 2 curriculum to groups of children while also focusing on each individual child's learning targets, encouraging their strengths, and improving their weaknesses
  • Further developing maths ability and introducing fractions, statistics, and geometry
  • Keeping track of children's progress and occasionally reporting back to parents

Responsibilities:

  • As a KS2 teacher you will be responsible for the pastoral care of the children, promoting teamwork, and cultivating a conducive learning environment.
  • Deliver quality teaching to key stage 2 classes

Requirements:

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching primary school students, ideally in KS2
  • A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team
  • A passion for teaching and learning, with a commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Good behaviour management skills, with a focus on creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
