Reed accountancy is pleased to announce a prestigious, fast-growing top 20 accountancy practice based in Letchworth Garden City is seeking an Audit Manager to join their audit team. The ideal candidate will be able to manage a team of seniors and juniors, delegate and oversee the work of their peers, and possess extensive experience working within an accountancy practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and audit assurance services to a diverse range of clients
  • Manage a team of 6, including two seniors, two semi-seniors, and two juniors
  • Report to the Head of Audit, who will have overall responsibility
  • Prior experience in management and certification as a Responsible Individual (RI) is required
  • An annual salary of up to £75,000
Working Arrangements:
  • 37.5 hours per week with flexible working policy and no core hours
  • Attire is dependent on the day
  • Working hours will need to be agreed with the line manager
Personal Specification:
  • Strategic and operational management experience
  • Ability to review existing systems and make improvements
  • Good communication skills, both verbally and written
  • MUST be ACA/ACCA fully qualified
  • Self-motivated and hungry to progress
  • MUST have previous Audit experience at managerial level
  • Strong knowledge of corporate accounting and audit matters (UK GAAP, FRS102, IFRS, and ISA's)
  • Extensive supervisory experience
