We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Sustainability Coordinator to join our waste strategy team. This role will play a vital part in developing and delivering projects and initiatives that shape our services and achieve our political priorities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading their own projects, working collaboratively with colleagues, and providing technical support to strategic and operational managers to deliver our waste and recycling services.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with excellent communication and project management skills to make a real impact in the community. The role will require close work with our operational teams, residents, local businesses, and a wide range of partners to help shape and improve our services.

As a member of our team, you will have the flexibility to work from home and other office bases, covering the whole of Bath and North East Somerset. Our team is based in the Civic Centre and Recycling Hub offices in Keynsham.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver projects and initiatives to improve our services
• Lead own projects and work collaboratively with colleagues
• Provide technical support to strategic and operational managers
• Work closely with operational teams, residents, and local businesses

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and project management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work from home and other office bases
