About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Turner to join our client's team in Bradford, West Yorkshire. The successful candidate will have experience working with HAAS CNC machines and be comfortable creating bespoke programmes using ISO/G&M coded machine controls.

About Our Client

">

Our client is a medium-sized precision engineering organisation employing around 70 people at their West Yorkshire site. With a site turnover of £15M, they have recently invested in brand-new machines to improve their machining capabilities.

Job Responsibilities

">

The Turner will work directly from 2D & 3D engineering drawings and often from physical components/prototypes. They will be adaptable and comfortable introducing new products, machining strategies, and programming techniques to ensure an efficient machining process.

Requirements

">

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a similar role as a Machinist, Programmer, Engineer or Technician within a high-profile Defence and Aerospace organisation. They should also have a strong understanding of machining processes and be able to work efficiently with minimal supervision.

What We Offer

">

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of approximately £35,000 per annum, depending on experience. They will also benefit from 33 days annual leave, permanent day shifts with an early finish on Fridays, and the opportunity to produce complex components and parts for a number of high-profile Defence and Aerospace organisations.
