About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Lift Repair Engineer to join our team at Otis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our elevators and escalators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret technical drawings to diagnose and repair issues with our equipment.
  • Perform planned and unplanned maintenance, repairs, and refurbishments on our lifts and escalators.
  • Problem-solve and find effective solutions to ensure minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
  • Liaise with customers and colleagues to ensure excellent communication and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Hold a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of various lift and escalator systems, with the ability to apply engineering principles to achieve optimal performance.
  • Experience with escalators is desirable, but not essential.
  • Be willing to participate in a call-out rota and work outside of regular hours.
  • Hold a full UK driving license.
