Job OverviewThis is an exciting opportunity to join our award-winning team as a Care Assistant, delivering high standards of personal care and contributing to the continuity of services to residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Personal Hygiene Care: Assist residents with all aspects of personal hygiene, ensuring optimum independence, dignity, and respect at all times.
- Risk Management: Recognise and understand clinical risk areas in residents, such as weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, and signs of infections. Escalate any identified risks in a timely manner.
- Courtesy and Respect: Act courteously towards residents and their visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident.
- Safe Systems of Work: Practice safe systems of work across the range of tasks.
To be successful in this role, you will need to live our values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable in all that you do. Experience is not required, as we offer a thorough induction and training programme to ensure confidence within your role.
Requirements:- Effective Communication: Have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Initiative and Respect: Demonstrate initiative and be respectful towards residents and other people in the home.
- Efficient Working: Be an efficient worker who can carry reasonable instructions from other team members.
- Adaptability: Be able to be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
