About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Options Autism. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with Autism and additional needs to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support pupils with Autism and additional needs in a classroom setting
  • Assist with lesson planning and preparation
  • Help to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Provide emotional and physical support to pupils as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
Requirements
  • Minimum GCSE Grade C in English and Maths
  • Experience working with pupils with Autism and additional needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
