Financial Data Analyst

MyLife Bathrooms is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Qualified Accounts Technician to join our Finance team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth running of our Finance function, ensuring accurate and timely financial data is recorded, analyzed, and reported.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records by recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
- Assist with the preparation and presentation of management accounts, including financial reports and analysis.
- Support internal and external audits by providing documentation, answering inquiries, and ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
- Utilize our ERP system effectively to streamline processes, improve accuracy, and enhance reporting capabilities.
- Prepare and submit statutory reports, including VAT returns, EC Sales, and Intrastat returns.
- Help establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
- Qualified Accounting Technician or similar by experience.
- At least 2 years experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Packages, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
