As a dedicated teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting children with mental health needs in a hospital school setting. This is a full-time, long-term Key Stage 2-3 teacher position in Camden, starting January 2025, with the opportunity to go permanent upon review.

A leading independent special school has pioneered therapeutic educational work with children for over 50 years. Collaborating with a fully integrated specialist clinical team, you will contribute to creating a supportive environment for students with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties.

This small school caters to up to 21 children aged 5-14, across Key Stages 1, 2 & 3. You will work alongside therapists, specialist nurses, and education staff to implement interventions and support behavior plans.

  • You will plan and assess pupils with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs.
  • Work with support staff to run interventions and implement individualized plans.
  • Support children's behavior by following their plans and collaborating with other professionals in their support network.
  • Update and set targets for each child, ensuring their progress and development.

Salary: Approximately £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include top rates of pay, more CPD opportunities than any other agency, a great referral bonus, and termly networking events.
