Job Type: Part-time

About the Job: We are seeking a SEMH Tutor to support students with SEMH needs and deliver personalized 1:1 tutoring sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personalized 1:1 tutoring sessions to a student with SEMH needs, ensuring engagement and progress in their learning.
  • Support students' social and emotional development alongside their academic progress.
  • Develop and adapt lesson plans to suit the individual's learning style and needs.
  • Collaborate with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure cohesive support.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs.
  • Ability to build rapport and motivate students with varying levels of engagement.
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality protocols.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or support work (desirable but not essential).
