Job Title: C++ Application Developer

Location: Warton, Nr Preston

Contract Type: 12 months

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced C++ Application Developer to join our team at Morson Talent Careers. This contract role is based in Warton, Nr Preston and requires 2-3 days per week on site.

The successful candidate will work on the MIDAS Mission Management system for military platforms across Air, Land and Sea. They will be responsible for designing and developing software using Agile framework and model-based system engineering techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support engineering planning activities
  • Liaise with MIDAS Systems & Test Engineers
  • Design and develop software code (C++/Misra C++)
  • Test and ensure software quality
  • Safety and security management

Requirements:

  • Integration experience within delivery programs for Systems and Software
  • Knowledge of the Engineering Lifecycle and governance
  • Awareness of Model Based Engineering tools (Cameo)
  • Requirements Management (DOORS)
  • System Definition (SysML / CAMEO)
  • Data Modelling
  • System/Software (SysML / UML)
  • Software Coding (C++/Misra C++)
  • Auto Code Generation

About the Role:
