About the Role

This is a zero-hour contract position with the potential to become a permanent full-time role within 3-6 months. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Inspecting and packing food products
  • Organizing production processes to maximize efficiency and meet targets
  • Ensuring quality standards for all products are met
  • Following company procedures for Health, Hygiene, and Safety and Food Safety
  • Managing the operation of the assigned line and reporting any issues or breakdowns to the Production Manager/Engineers
  • Identifying potential areas for improvement to production methods and processes

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience working in a food production environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Good numeracy and written skills
  • Confidence working in a team and independently
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality service
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and productivity
  • Ability to achieve a high standard of punctuality and attendance
